Lang Yang
Lang was born in Laos and served in the
army under the direction of the U.S. Central Intelligence
Agency (CIA) during the Vietnam War. In 1975, when the war
was over, Lang escaped Laos to live in Thailand. He came to
Minnesota in the early 1980s and started working as a paralegal
for Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Service where he assisted
attorneys and their refugee clients.
A few years later Lang joined the federal
Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program in Washington
DC and worked as a refugee resettlement advocate. When he
returned to Minnesota he took a job as an employment counselor
for people with disabilities.
In 1996 he joined Paige Donnelly, Ltd. as
a legal investigator. He has worked on all kinds of personal
injury claims. Some cases have resulted in million-dollar
verdicts.
Lang graduated from National College in
Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with a B.S. degree in Business
Administration. He is fluent in several languages including:
English, Hmong, Lao and Thai. |
